Traverse Group comprises Traverse Property and Traverse Investments.
The Group is a family-run business started by Paul and Bitten Fearon in 2005. Together they oversee the companies and manage the growing team.
The companies work both independently and as a cohesive unit. From sourcing and purchasing land, designing a subdivision and gaining consents, overseeing completion of earthworks and roadworks, through to sales to the end customer — Traverse Group manage every stage of the process.
When you choose to work with Traverse you are guaranteed a personal approach, years of experience and a contagious passion for creating quality living environments.
Married for over 40 years, Paul & Bitten have never shied away from a challenge – whether it be Paul completing an Executive MBA from Auckland University while they had two young children at home, moving their family across the world to Denmark (where Bitten is originally from) or founding a new company – their teamwork sees them through the wildest of adventures.
Paul started his career in horticulture and gained experience in many different fields, working his way up to being the General Manager at a large New Zealand retail chain. He ran a landscaping business for several years and later an import export company, while Bitten ran an import and distribution company for over 20 years. The experience gained in these endeavours has been invaluable to the success of Traverse Group, a love of business and an eye for detail has helped lead the company on a road to successful developments.
Kari studied a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Management Communication in Denmark, putting this study to use in boutique marketing and advertising agencies when she moved back to New Zealand.
Her husband Adam is the Director of Business Development ANZ in a large distribution company and his business knowledge and expertise is sought when the Traverse Group require another viewpoint. Their three little girls ensure every day is an adventure - there is never a boring minute in the Peden household!
